Pemberton Training & Education
The Pemberton Valley is in the process of developing increased training and education opportunities for residents and visitors alike. Local government including the Village of Pemberton, Squamish Lillooet Regional District, local First Nations bands and Pemberton & District Chamber of Commerce are working to maximize on training and education.
Training & Education Venues
Capilano College works in conjunction with the Mt Currie Band Council providing training programs for the local First Nations community. Pemberton Secondary School, Signal Elementary School, Pemberton Business Park, the new Pemberton Community Centre and Mt Currie Band Council are a few of the venues that can be maximized for training and education venues.
Trainer & Educator Pool
Training opportunities include trades, agriculture, tourism, arts and high-technology. The local communities offer a pool of talented people available to lead training and programming.
The process of bringing a private school to the Valley is also currently under negotiation.
